You can make reservations online utilizing the link above or call 1-888-591-1234. Be sure to mention The Spirit Show or University Spirit. Rates are $109.00 Single/Double Occupancy plus state and local taxes. Rates are good only until May 7, 2008.   After that date, reservations will be on a space-available basis at the ongoing rack rate. 

Early Departures
If you depart prior to your originally scheduled departure date (the date specified at check in), a $50.00 early departure fee will be assessed.

Check-In
Hotel check-in time is 3:00 p.m.

Check-Out
Hotel checkout time is 12 Noon. The Hyatt Regency DFW Airport Hotel offers such options as the convenience of Video or Audio checkout from your sleeping room television set or express checkout by phone.

Credit Cards
The following cards are accepted: American Express, Visa, Master Card, Discover, Diners Club, Carte Blanche and JCB.

Airport Transportation
The Hyatt Regency DFW Airport Hotel provides complimentary transportation to and from the airport terminals at DFW Airport. After picking up your luggage at Baggage Claim, use the hotel courtesy phone located near the baggage claim area and dial the number listed for Hyatt Regency DFW (#173). Please provide them your name, location and the number of people in your party. Proceed to the lower level curbside and look for the gray sign that states “Courtesy Vans Only ” Return transportation is available every 20 minutes to all airline terminals at DFW Airport beginning on the hour. Please be prepared to leave for the airport one and a half hours prior to your scheduled departure time. Hotel vans transport within the DFW Airport area only

Directions to the Hotel
You can enter the Airport from Highway 183 from the south or Highway 114 from the north. The airport itself has one main road, International Parkway, which runs the length of the airport, north to south. You must go through the tollgates of the Airport to get to the hotel. Once inside the airport, all exits are on the LEFT. Exit Terminal C/ Hyatt Regency DFW Hotel. Follow signs for Terminal C, and Hyatt Regency DFW will be on your right. Complimentary parking is provided. Upon departure from the Hotel, tickets can be validated at the bellstand for local attendees, or at the front desk for overnight Guests. Valet parking is available from 5:00 pm to 11:00 pm at a charge of $10.00 per day or $20.00 overnight. Please see Front Desk for assistance with Valet after hours.

Parking
On-site parking is $10 per day or $20 overnight for the general public plus the toll road fee ($1-$2) assessed to access airport property. Guests of the Hyatt Regency DFW have free parking privileges with validation of parking cards at the front desk.

DFW Airport
Located in the 8th largest city in the United States, DFW Airport sits midway between the cities of Dallas and Fort Worth, Texas.   All major airlines service DFW.

Air Travel
DFW is the hub for American Airlines so most flights to this year’s show should be direct for the majority of our guests. American Airlines is offering a 5% discount off the lowest applicable published air fare valid MAY 25 – JUNE 5, 2008 for travel to DFW when booked directly through American Airlines.

There is a separate ticketing charge of $10.00 USD for tickets purchased via the phone or $15.00 USD for tickets purchased at the airport.   This amount is subject to change.   At this time there is no ticketing fee for reservations made and ticketed on www.AA.com.   The percentage discount can be booked on-line at www.AA.com for American Airlines and American Eagle flights only.

Car Rentals
Because of our airport location, there is no need to rent a car unless you plan on staying at a hotel other than the Hyatt.   Multiple car rental
facilities are at the DFW Airport.  

• Some additional things to note this year:
  The Hyatt Regency DFW is an airport hotel with no food outlets other than the hotel's own restaurants.   Food costs are high so we are strongly
  recommending eating prior to arriving Friday.  
• Parking at the Hyatt is $20.00 per night plus the $1-$2 toll assessed to access the airport.   Guests of the Hyatt are allowed free parking (tickets are validated at the front desk) so staying at the host hotel will save $16-$18 a day in parking charges over staying off property.
